Description

three different colors for Tama.
for those not in "the know"

Tama is a "sub-cannon" character in the tlk universe. meaning she is an\ official character, but does not appear in any films. she appears in a comic book. she was made under license from Disney

anywho.

I made this color chart thing because people always struggle with a "movie/cannon" color for our dear Tama.

her colors in the comic book (as with all comic characters) are "wonky" and wouldnt really make much sense in the tlk films. so i tried to alter her colors a bit.

the first one is the exact color code of her from the comic.

the second one, is the same colors, but altered. i took a clip from the comic featuring her and nala. and compared it to a screenshot. altered the one clip so as nala's colors from the clip, matched her colors from the movie. then i took the colors from tama, after altering the pic, and colored my own drawing of her. thus attempting some warm "cub" film colors for the little lady.

and the third one, is me working on my own from the comic colors, and altering by hand and comparison, to try to make her movie colors. (the third one's colors are one that i made a long time ago, u can find the ref sheet in my gallery)

the three different colors come in ;

flat colorings,

shaded,

and included into a screenshot. so u can see how shed look compared to the other characters with the colors given.

really u can color her how ud want to yourself, but you are more than welcome to use any of these colors. but do not use my picture itself thank you.

So how exactly do you do this, if you don't mind?
I've been wanting dearly to make my characters' colors more vibrant.
