I kind of am having an artblock sort of thing right now. So I was going through some of my drawings on my computer, and came across this picture that I have been messing with on and off for days/week(s?). Then I decided to keep working on it. And here it is.
I quite liked the color scheme. A grey skinned (like charcoal or something.  ) woman with reddish hair, and fiery eyes. Surrounded by smoke and fire. It was fun to play around with.

I liked the idea of some mythical feminine figure who is in charge of fire/smoke. Be she a 'good', 'evil', or even 'neutral' sort of being. Just doing her thing. Possibly glaring at the viewer. With either curiosity or ill-intent in her eyes, I am not sure.
Maybe she has never seen a human before, and should rescue the poor person who is trapped in the fire she set. Or maybe she is well aware of them, and is seeking revenge on one of them in particular, or all of them. Perhaps she is surprised to have been seen by a person, and is about to disappear in a cloud of smoke. I haven't quite decided.

I do so have a thing for drawing ladies and smoke-type backgrounds.
