Im so tired....

".... I've been running through these dead woods for what seems like an eternity..the trees,nothing but dry standing cadavers feeding the flames that are just behind........I've been Chocking on the black smoke, trying to dodge the ever nearing embers, dancing around the sky as if they're laughing at me.... taunting me.... I can almost hear their laughter....... I cannot move anymore, let me lie here.... let me sleep........ let the ashes cover me like a blanket......No. I must go on, I must outrun this inferno.... I'll raise up and take a few more steps....but I cannot.......let me lie here...... let me catch my breath........ I'm soo tired....I cannot breath, my lungs are burning..... just let me lie here, for a little while.......then I'll try again..."

Well..... I couldn't figure out any sort of background to give to this drawing that has been sitting on my comp for a few days..... so I just threw this together. I liked it too much to abandon it. As I've been doing with most drawings as of late.


Oh the colors for this lioness, I took from a photo of a white lion, the only reason why she appears red, is because of her surroundings and mood. So she's not a fantasy lioness, she's pretty natural.

This pic makes me wanna take deep breaths.....
