i'm sure some of you have heard of mheetu, if not. here's a quick run through;

"During production of the first Lion King, Nala was originally going to have a little brother, named "Mheetu". Who was supposed to act as a little "tag along" for Nala and Simba. Mheetu has no meaning in swahili, but its supposedly originated from the phrase "Me Too", thought up by the creaters of the film. But they spelled it "Mheetu" to make it seem like it had african/swahili origins.
Mheetu was cut from the film due to budget/too many character reasons.
But he has appeared in concept work, and original notes, which can be found all over the internet, as well as a book called "The Art Of The Lion King".

So throughout the "fandom" of TLK, we have only really had these images to work from for anyone who wanted to draw Mheetu.

(though personally i think i have seen those images used for Simba's concept art, because simba originally started out as a white lion. but that was later changed. but yeah, these are thought to be mheetu if not simba)

thats obviously Sarafina (Nala's mom) Talking to Nala.....and a little cubbie in her paws!!!
Soo i think its safe to assume that that is Mheetu, atleast id like to think so.
SO! At long last we fan-artist have what seems to be an "official" picture/design of Nala's little brother Mheetu!!

or if you dont want it to be mheetu then have at your theories!(please dont post your theories here, this is not the place for debate on or against anyone's beliefs, please and thank you)


as usual i took the comic colors and made film colors, i will post a comparison pic soon.

however do NOT use these colors for his other cub form, or adult form. the main pelt/colors change with age, as i have shown on some previous pictures.
