Mheetu-What Could Have been-by *DJ88

my god I havent drawn anything in DAYS!! (not even on paper!)

I have been going crazy xD Running around town, getting ready for a wedding getting ready to travel to the wedding location, fighting with family BLAH BLAH BLAH!

I have been craving drawing soo much that it's made me depressed!

So last night I watched this youtube video

And I got inspired to draw something TLK
So I browsed my tlk type pics to see what I had, if I had any WIPs pics, or if a screengrab could give me inspiration enough to belt out some picture, at first I didnt even wanna draw a tlk pic, because I've been trying to kinda get away from it XD ( I still love TLK! but alot of things/people are turning me off the whole thing!)

Anywho, Ifound some Mheetu concept pics I drew up of him in age progression and decided to doodle around with his adult design. Then I drew this up and decided to color it XD

So yeah, here's Mheetu!

And before someone asks, no, I don't think Scar fathered Mheetu, I'm going with "the baby daddy was a rouge" theory.

People just want soo badly for scar to be the father of some cub so that the cub can continue in scar's evil doing, or live a "woe is me" story of pain, self battling, depression, loneliness and sorrow for knowing it's father was an evil bastard of a lion. Those theories have been romanticized to the point of eyerolling. (we already got that with Zira and Kovu/Vitani........and I suppose Nuka.)
Not to knock any specific person or their stories/theories, but I just wanted to go a different route with this. Have your fun with whatever you're coming up with, if you enjoy it then run with it and dont let anyone stop you.

And no I am not going to be drawing or writing a story about Mheetu, I just have fun designing characters and such. So don't expect anything fantastical. This is just an image, just a drawing, blah blah blah. This is all good and FUN!!!

I support Mheetu as a white lion with a father from a different land other than the Pridelands and Sarafina as his mother. But your portrayal is so well done <3

Mheetu is a Ladies' Man. This Mheetu is NOT Scar's son. Scar made Sarafina think he died, and forced her into mariage so she could have Scar's cub Mheetu II, who Mheetu I killed.
