I've decided to challenge myself with drawing very fast, small sketches in pen. It's an exercise I've heard of some artists/animators doing, in order to simplify and or aim to find the shapes/essence of the subject being drawn. So I've decided to do so, and take on drawing the Thylacine, seeing as I am a tad rusty, and want to work on my anatomy for them anyways. The result? 2 pages of little inks of thylacines! This was one of my favorites, and admittedly I must say I worked on it longer than most of the other little sketches. Mainly because I just loved the pose, and wanted to keep adding detail, definition, and shading to it.
So yeah, I may show off some of the other sketches, I don't know.
The Thylacine was done in pen (using this pen [link] ) on white copy paper. Textures/effects added in photoshop. And the Font "Thylacine" is actually done by hand and scanned, just like the sketch. So it is not a downloadable font, sorry :
Done whilst watching these videos, as well as monsterquest on netflix. The monsterquest episode is called "Isle of the lost Tiger".... and is full of "ohh that's wrong! why did you say that! ffff stupid ><" moments for those that love and research the Thylacine..... fair warning XD
Please be respectful to the artist... No you may NOT use this image for basing, copying, tracing, altering,RPing, ,Facebook Profiles, Tumblr profiles, Twitter Profiles, personal character pictures, commercial use, re-uploading, ETC...
