(widow grew up in the 70s and 80s, which explains the "hair metalish look.... he never really keeps up to fashion.)

Widow is a serial Rapist/killer.

He kidnaps his victims (females only for the rapes...he aint gay) has his way with them for as many times as he wants. then does away with them. usually a blow to the head or something.

some serial killers keep a few things from their victims. for Widow its can be anything from a piece of jewelry to the skull. whatever he's in the mood for.

He murders men for either their women or if he wants something from them (he started out as a thief in his younger days.)

WIDOWS BIO;



Widow was born John William Gunn October 13, 1958. in Ashville North Carolina , to a trailer trash drunkard of a mother. Almost immediately moved to Charolette North Carolina. Plenty of drugs and men circulated around his childhood. his mother had turned to prostitution early after she was kicked out of her own home for drug use and theft.

Widow never knew his father, and he only had a photograph of him. (his father had been killed in prison. reason for being sent there is unknown)

So Widow is what we would call a "Bad Seed" in terms of serial killer profiling.

he was a rebellious child early on, as the men his mother had in and out of the house were abusive or horrible role models. he resorted to pety crimes at age 11. stealing from gas stations and mechanic's shops. killing little animals on the side.

at 7 he started killing animals.

at ten he shows an explosive temper after throwing a desk at his teacher and refusing to do any work. screaming "go to hell," and "fuck you"

at 11 he started stealing from stores/gas stations.

at 13 he was caught taking money from his mother's purse....mother started seeing signs.(when the idiot was sober)

at 14 he was suspended from school for lifting a girl's skirt up.


he attended school, but was a very lonley child, as no one really wanted to be around him, because he was obviously scary to the other kids. he would spend his reccess's in the corner of the playground smashing ants or digging in the dirt.

at 15 he was caught stealing booze from a gas station and spent some time in juvy.

In his mid Teens,(16?) he claimed his first rape victim. He had gone out on a date with a girl from school, when the end of the date came, so did her innocence. She ofcourse lived, and was too terrified to tell. So Widow got away with that one.

at 17 he gets hired to work as a mechanic. fired for taking parts.

at 18 he gets fired from his Welding job for his explosive temper (got into a fight with his boss's daughter, whom he was dating at the time)

He had grown up to be quite handsome, and wore the "bad boy" look very well, so women flocked to him in his teens and early 20s.

at the age of 19 he claimed his 5th rape victim, a girl walking along the road alone at night from work. (victims 2,3,4 are unknown) She went to the police. Widow went to prison.

During his time in Prison he had gotten Black Widow Tattoos on his arms and right hand. He was Christianed Widow at that point in his life. He spent alot of time alone in prison, recieved 3 months of solitary after getting into a fight with a guard in an attempt escape.
8 months pass. Widow is set free.

at age 20, Widow finds the previous Rape victim (the one who told) alone in her car with her boyfriend in a "Lover's Lane" sort of place, on a hill/cliff looking over the town. He shoots the boyfriend 3 times, twice in the chest and once in the head. He kidnaps the girl, taking her to the river, and rapes her, then stabs her with a shank he had made in prison. he stabbed her 3 times in the stomach , 15 in the chest. Puts the gun in her mouth and pulls the trigger. then he throws her into the river. she was found a week later downstream. ( not enough evidence pointed to him, even though he was the first suspect. he walked away from that one free...)


He kills his mother and her that time boyfriend 4 months later by setting his childhood home/trailer on fire. He had gotten into a fight with his mother's boyfriend earlier that day about money.

at 22 he rapes/kills two girls whom were camping together.

at age 25 he kills a truck driver and took his rigg, traveling on the highway.
26 he abandons the Rigg, driving it into a lake somewhere. He had claimed 40+ victims while traveling in the rigg. 34 were rape/murder vics. only 6 were murder vics.

28 he claims the life of a homless mann. reason for his killing was unknown. he usually kills if he wants something from someone.

at age 30 he rapes and underaged girl. they only found her right hand and a braid of her hair.

31 was arressted for drug use. he was released. (he wasnt even considered for all the rapes/killings at that point. and was only charged for the drug possession. he slithered right through the polices' grasp.)

at 34 he starts hitch hiking. he is picked up by a man in a red truck. he kills him and keeps the truck...and heads for California........ arrives in LA california, and uses the alias Tommy W. Price.

at 36 he strangles a prostitute.

37 he kidnaps/rapes a sorority girl. he smashed her face in.

39 works as a chef in a restaurant, takes a waitress out on a date, rapes her and slices her throat. no one suspects him.

42, kidnaps a 14 year old girl, hangs her in his basement. disposes of her in a black bag at a park. did not rape her.

46, brakes into a house, kills a man, his nine year old son, and rapes/kills the wife. she was found draped over the bathtub, writings carved into her thighs. reading "bitch", "whore" and "control".

47, kidnaps a 17 year old girl whom was home alone. rapes her. removed her lips. cut off her right pinky toe. forced her to stab herself in the right thigh. then decapitated her alive.
burned her in a burn barrel in the back yard.

48, kidnaps a woman in a parking lot at night, rapes kills her. she is found three weeks later. she was described as;
a 25 year old, cashier at a local clothing store. she wore expensive clothing, and had a hot pink purse. last time she was seen.
one week later, During a drug deal, the buyer was sitting in the car with Widow as he drove around. they buyer was a 27 year old man. they were just, talking, about movies, music, "hot bitches", the deal, the news of a serial killer running around and how they think the killings are linked to other slayings in other states spanning the late 70s , and throughout the 80s n 90s. They have been driving around for a while. though the 27 year old knows to never trust a drug dealer as they are usually shady...he has noticed that Widow is, extra intense. Intimidating, and seems like he's "always in charge no matter what you say or do." as the time goes on he grows increasingly more and more careful around Widow, and becomes scared, can't wait to just "get the drugs and get out of the car".

When the deal is over and Widow goes to drop him off, he pays Widow, gets his stash, and when he gets out of the car he turns around to say something to widow , and he notices a hot pink purse in the back seat of the car. fear shot through his whole body in an instant. and he was frozen.
widow interupts his stunness with a "Hey man, you're pretty chill...... you should come buy from me again, ill give ya some extra next time......."

the man snaps back to reality, swallows hard, and forces a " y-y-yeah mann, sure, ill hit ya up next time i need anything."

widow looked at him........just looked. as if he was reading his mind. the man was still bent over leaning into the passenger's side. just staring at widow like a rabbit staring at the ravenous wolf just before it life is stripped away. the man had turned pale and started sweating. it was quiet for what seemed like eternity. and just as the man was about to turn around and run for dear life. widow snapped from the glare as if he just did NOTHING. and gave a deviously charming smile. "Alright man....well ill be seeing ya."
with that , Widow rolls up the window and drives away slowly, then regularly. the buyer was in SHOCK. he didnt even know what to do. he had just sat down and spoken with a cold blooded killer...........

the next day he wen to the police and ratted Widow out. the police took immediate action. the burst into widow's home late in the after noon. They found what seemed like any house at first. but as they walked into the bedroom. they found piles a opened box, full of rings, jewls, photographs, and braids of hair. they also found several knives, a pile of ropes. chloroform, syringes, and a sledge hammer. then they lifted a blanket from the ground, and discovered a fairly sized blood stain on the floor.
in his book collection, he had such titles as;

on his wall he had a photo of charles manson with the quote " If you're going to do something, do it well. And leave something witchy. " and a big photograph of Ted bundy.

they then moved along to the rest of the house. The found nothing more striking. a DVD/ VHS collection of serial killer interviews/ bios. some b-rated horror movies. documentaries. and some drugs hidden in a speaker. a bunch of heavy metal albums from the 70s/80s/90s/ a fish aquarium with spiders inside.(black widows)

then the worst is yet to come. they head down into the basement. the find an array of knives, a box of fingers, braids of hair, 7 skulls formed into a pyramid in the corner. a table stained with blood. chains hainging from the walls a . and three nooses hanging from a plank. they find a "box o' bones" as it is written on the side. filled with arm and leg bones. on the table they find a set of lips that have been super glued shut. and there is a fireplace (strange for a basement) with what looks like a foot burned down to the bones. and a bottom jaw was wired to the wall.

a horrible horrible sight................ but no Widow.

Widow was away, getting groceries at a store. on his way home he stopped at the corner, a fair long distance from his home. and he glared. he glared at the police cars (4 of them). he glared, and then he just simply drove away.

it made headline news of course. and a police sketch of him lay next to the headlines. just sitting there, staring at the world.

"Cali slayer", "LA Slayer". "the Murderous Widow". "the Drifting maniac" ."California Ripper". "Tommy Spider". "Widow of LA" and various other [link] were givin to him by the media. "Widow" and "LA Slayer" were used the most, Widow was used seeing as that's what the drug buyer called him, and he was the one who "when balling to the police" and LS Slayer was just as catchy.

widow had no where to go. not since the beltway snipers have there been a media frenzy on a serial killer. he dumped his car, they knew what he was driving, and moved on.

it would be a whole 4 more years , and 5 victims later, before they would finally get a hold of Widow.

at age 52, Widow was arressted for the death of one Sam Blake, whom he stabbed to death and stole his car. he was caught on the side of the road hitch hiking after the car he had stolen broke down, he was picked up by an undercover detective. who had been looking for him, and drove past him by mere chance.

and the crowd went wild! the media had gone crazy,
"LA Slayer Caught!"
"Widow picked up on the side of the road"
" Longtime serial killer finally stopped in his tacks"

Sitting, cuffed in the car, with the officer's, driving up to the courthouse. he looked over at a female reporter and said "what a bitch....she's got a sweet ass though"

on trial, he would interupt the judge on occassion. yelling obscenities. and stared at the women on the jury. he asked for " a woman lawyer, a hot one, so he can sit next to a woman for a while and fantasize. because he knows it will be a long while before he sees a set of "those" ever again"

"Pshhh i have no chance, the'll send me away for sure. if not kill me."

it is said that when they first arressted him, he just sat thee and gave a horribley wicked smile, and said "Well, its about fucking time, what took you so long?? Fuck you."

at first he denyed quite a few things. but then he layed it all out. he confessed to;
71 murders(that he remembered), was found guilty of 63.
46 rapes. 4 of whom were still alive.(from the early days before he started killing)
