Well..... it was going to be a primed and polished drawing..... but after refining the sketch more than a couple times... I got tired of it. But instead of giving up on it completely, I put color under the sketch, shaded it, gave it a freakishly fast BG, put some textures and filters on it. and yeah. finito.
