I enjoyed reading Twilight, I thought it was a good book in its own right. I have to admit tho, the fourth book made me want to bash my head on a wall... Seriously, Vampires with SPERM? W T F. Dead things can not impregnate living things. Honestly when I read the book, I didn't even really think of the Cullens AS vampires. Heh. The sparkling thing didn't bother me as much as it seems to others, she had to make some excuse for them to not be seen, however I didn't really think of it QUITE as sparkly as they made it in the movie. Went a tid bit far imo. >.> I tend to just ignore all the stupid twihards (like my mother, god save us all) so I don't have much to say there. Losers... The movies only suck because the acting is so sub-par. I blame Kristen Stewart myself, seeing that Robert Pattinson actually does quite well in other films, and anyone who truly likes him for his ability would do well to have seen them. However, that girl only knows how to do like two emotions and make one face... and she does it the WHOLE TIME (close your damn mouth! *shakes fist*). >< I think it is also important to note that the book did not have werewolves in it, it was discussed in the last book that the tribe was something different then werewolves and therefore she didn't mutilate the lycanthropes of the world. Haha. In conclusion (since I appear to be writing a term paper on this topic ), Twilight has it's place, but I still prefer the good ol' boys like Louis and Lestat, Bram Stoker's Dracula (Amazing book and film <3) and other films like The Lost Boys (love the last line of that one! Haha), or Dusk Till Dawn. ^^
very in depth opinions. the sparkling thing is what killed me most about it. and a baby vamp makes no sense. even though dracula had bat spawn children in Hellsing
i cant say realy. ive never seen or read them, and i dont plan too since they're a romance. i think the fan girls are rather iritating, but i dont see why people are killing over it.
