halloweem definately i love the whole theme of it im really into halloweeny stuff and also the best eps of shows and awesome movies are played(like simpsons treehouse of horror and hocus pocus) next i guess 4th of july cos the fireworks then hanukkah i guess because of the lack of school -not putting Christmas since i dont celebrate it-(its gotten better lately since i dont have to celebrate it with my sisters since theyre at college) ive never really liked thanksgiving too much but i do get to see my family which is sorta nice(not my immediate family some people i barely see more than for thanksgiving)but the adults are always talking about adult stuff and my cousins that are actually close to my age are nothing like me and we would not be able to hold a conversation for longer than a minute(and any other hanging out option is even worse) and no other holidays really have any relevance to me btw sorry bout the length of this comment

Halloween. Its just lovely to see everyone all dressed up. I dont need an excuse to dress up in plate armor and go grocery shopping (I do that whenever I am particularly bored) but its fun to go about in my best Viking garb and show off.

Christmas is no longer a holiday. Its a quarterly event that lasts from September all the way to January. Come November, its no longer merry and I want it to be Halloween again.
Now the local medieval reenactment group's Winter Solstice feast is a proper celebration. Brings back a little of the original Viking holiday with the yule log, and a proper feast and celebration to get you over the winter hump.

What about Thanksgiving? That's my favorite. Of course, I put Christmas, because besides the whole gift-giving thing, it's always very warm and wonderful in our house then.

You don't have an "other" option. Cuz I don't really know... o.O I like them all, but most are very... thrown over the top and take away from what they are meant to be. XP
Like Christmas and Easter, definitely. Halloween has been turned into just a fun holiday when it was meant to keep bad spirits -away- not invoking them. 4th of July and New Years are more symbolic, and not really "petty", but just, not what a holiday should be. (Though, everyone loves a holiday where you can blow things up and watch the pretty fires XD) And the rest I don't really have an opinion of. I just love normal days, where you can just sit on the deck with the sun and blue sky and just relax and watch nature and life take place, whatever season it is. Where you don't have to scramble around and get everything done like your heads' been cut off or something. Life's too short to freak out over the little things like this one or two holidays of the month, when everyday should be a holiday. ^.^

My family has the best desserts on the 4th of July therefore it is my favorite holiday.
