lol, i saw one out side my house. And that's the only time i've seen one (i've lived there all my life.... that sucks). And like any i was afraid of one coming into my room at night (freaking out for no reason), because i live in the basement with my window open (i have a screen but there are alot of holes in it. never bothered to fix it or to buy a new one) for like a few weeks.

I was actually looking at some pictures of these guys a couple days beforehands. And they can give one heck of a nasty bite! Seriously, don't look up "camel spider bites" if you're squeemish. Bleh!

So, not seeing what is so scary. They are not poisonous, nor get to be too overly large. I vaguely remember them having a fairly advanced respiratory system for a arthropod, kinda makes them interesting in my book.

Luckily, I read through the voting options first cuz yeah...big spiders and I don't mix well (unless they're pets, but even then I'm still squimish).
