The only guy I've met from the internet was NOT a dating interest, and he's awright. We had mutual friends anyway. A bit of a creeper anyway though. It's just too easy to hide the fact that you're a creeper online. Half of communication is body language and inflection, if you just write to each other you're just imagining they're who you want them to be half the time.

... but obviously it does work sometimes. There are plenty of happily married people to prove it.

Did it. Creepy beyond belief- guy was a pedobear in disguise. I should have seen that one a mile away especially because I was 14 or 15 in the first place, but I was totally clueless to the fact that he didn't like me -despite- the fact that I was so much younger but -because- I was. Duh! It could have been a lot worse, though. Never tried to meet me irl thank goodness.

Did it, got too attatched, then got my heart broken.

Never again.

Then again, I did that 5 years ago. XD

Done it. Didn't really go anywhere irl (that whole ocean thing getting in the way...), but man it was a hoot while it lasted. Fun times, amicable breakup, we still talk *shrug*.

I actually met my current bf on xbox live, and after a few months I had the option to move out of state and right in home with him. Technically I was heading to a different state to live there at first, but I wasn't allowed there, and so having no where else to go my bf helped me find a place with his sister in-law and brother. ^___^ However finding someone and doing online dating.....not recomended for the inexperienced. I am young just a mere 20 years of age, and have had 6-7 internet/long distance relationships, and it wasn't even my intentions on getting another bf online. But I did find someone who is my friend when I need one, a lover when I feel alone, and a teacher who aids me in learning lifes many lessons.

Did that in high school. Would never do it again. Then again, I've already found who I want to stay with so I'm biased. But I don't think it can work if there's no chance of you ever meeting. There comes a point where you have to have a face-to-face, I think.

I have done it.. And I thank God that nothing bad happened. I was very lucky that GOd was watching over me, cause anything could of happened. I was alos lucky that the guy was not bad, like most. I moved from California (was working at disneyland, quit) to Texas. I was there a month and came back home to California. I was not meant to be out there, cause the one man that God had planned for me was still in California. And now I am with that man and have 3 beautiful girls. I thank God everyday that nothing majorly bad has ever happened to me. So, some advice, be careful, ask God if this is what he wants for you. God Bless sweety. Just know, sometimes it works out, and other times it doesn't work out.
