Self employed and hobby all at the same time. When it needs to, it can earn a little side cash, but even still it's all just for fun. I want to shoot people on DA who get pissy because apparently it's wrong to do art just for fun, you have to be a quote unquote "professional" at all times. Lolz of that? Just because you went to school for something doesn't make you a better person XD
Well...I guess I'm a freelance artist. To be honest, I never really saw myself as an actual artist, and always viewed it as a hobby in a way, but I have sold artwork and been payed to do some projects. Everyone in RL seems to think I have a job, I think I just have a hobby that gets me cash every now and then. :/
I am currently working towards my BFA, but I also have been hired for photography jobs and sold a few prints on here. I chose student, since that's what is consuming my life right now, but it's a cross between that and freelance.
An art student, currently doing both fine art and graphic design at A level (last year of college over here in the UK), then onto a foundation art course, then to go on to an illustration course at university. I've done 3 exhibitions however, with hopefully many more to come
Hobbyist. I actually would love to study animations, but with this economic crisis roaming through Europe like a vulture, that's simply impossible ;_; Well, at least, that's what my parents say. They believe I wouldn't make enough money to support myself once I finished the study T_T
I'd say Freelance/Hobbyist mix. I've done stuff outside of deviantart/the internet that I've been paid for. As well as selling art online. And have had several offers to illustrate for other things. Almost worked on a TV show but that just, didn't happen.......
And I draw for myself as a hobby because I just love drawing
