oh my gosh!!! what the heck?!?! i can see why that was banned!Oo.....hahahaha although i must admit i was laughing my head off when Hitler was snorting
damn!! but hey- it is pretty much true.. i dont see anything horrible about it :/ yeah- the stuff that happened was horrible- but not the video its self.. except, of course, i wouldnt want to show this to little kids, id save it for part of a high school history lesson
This cartoon is definently horrible! But if a kid saw this they'd be terrfied and wouldn't want to be like the nazis... it surprises me that no one ever thought of that. To me it seems to be educational AND against nazis once you think about it.
I've seen it before, and I have to say this is why I really love youtube. These things shouldn't be banned, and I hate that Disney needs to hide its own history to protect the kiddies from something that's frankly historical. (Lord forbid they know anything about the world that isn't being playfully spoon-fed to them by Mickey Mouse.)
Not to say that Disney was the only one doing this at the time. There are plenty of propoganda-driven Looney Tunes and Betty Boop cartoons out there. Makes you wonder what the kids are being told now in their cartoons. I highly doubt we've reached a miraculous plateau of society in which all prejudices are banned from the media.
i am pretty suprised that these werent released in our country as well, when i heard of a cartoon where donald was portrayed as a nazi i was appauled. but then seeing more of these, i think its the right time to release these , atleast in a box set or a history channel special.

But I found the cartoon interesting and actually educational. I fail to see why it was banned, because it speaks the truth.
