Description

Worked on this off and on for a while. Listening to paranormal shows and such....
I need to finish my commissions...

Anywho, Legend seems to have snatched a vampire bat who made the fatal mistake of flying too low.

It's a mysterious thing, but after Selma Black was hanged, more and more of these bats appeared in the village..... causing illness and insanity (to them it was insanity, to us its rabies)

And even a strange and eerie fog shrouded her home and the woods around it....

Legend however, seemed to be neither affected or infected by these bats, and if anything, benefited from their invasion.

Even when Selma was alive, he'd feed on these night dwelling creatures.... and never ever got sick.

Was all this the result of Selma's curse? Was Legend bringing it on?
Who can say? (well.I can! xD )

What a deviously mysterious feline.....

Here's the original poem featuring Selma Black and Legend:

Selma Black, Owned a Black Cat.
Selma Black did not wear a "witch's hat".
She did not ride a broomstick to black masses,
But she did meddle a bit into Dark Magics.
Selma Black kept in cages, little black bats.
With their blood, made a brew, and said a chant.
Then cursed and broke Momma Wickerson's back.

Selma Black lived nearest the woods alone in a shack.
Her door, like her hair, was painted black.
Selma heard a knock at the door, opened it up and was wrestled to the floor.
She was lifted, wrists bound.
Then was taken outside, saw the villagers, and made such a sound.
Barking mad, she laughed, and kicked a man to the ground.
The other man, whose hands still held her,
Shrieked in pain, for her touch became as hot as a flame.
When released she started to spin and sing.
"You rid thou's village of my body, but I shall still haunt thou's thoughts and dreams!"

Selma Black, who owned a cat, was tried and Hanged....
And they know now, that the act was a mistake.
At night when their children fall to sleep, a legendary cat starts to sneak.
It sits in the trees, eyes like embers.
And watches wickedly, at those who remember
They Kick and scream and wake up in sweats.
The feline knows, that Selma Black, though dead.
Will never leave these Villagers' heads.
