"Up at the faraway rocks, Zira saw the fire from a distance and ran back to Pride Rock. Leaving Her Cubs with a few of her members from her previous pride. She arrived near the edge of a riot between the hyenas and her commoner lionesses. She had no idea what was happening. Then remembering the Nala had ran off and there were rumors that she went to go find help.... Zira crept behind the flames. Stalking for either Sarabi or Nala. If there was going to be an uprising, then someone needed to be made an example of, and held responsible for. And Zira swore to Sarabi that if anything of the sort happened, she would kill the traitor. But eveeryone also knew that She was out for Mufasa's widow, Who NEVER bowed down to Zira, and it was rumored that Scar still had some feelings left for Sarabi.
Zira, who couldn't see past the blaze, took a path that led behind pride rock. There were some hyenas alittle ways ahead of her, then she heard a roar. She looked up at the top of the stone castle and saw Scar fighting an unknown male lion, who looked strikingly like Mufasa.
Her eyes widened as she saw scar fly over the side of the rock and tumble down to the ground
"NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she could no longer see Scar, the flames were growing too strong for her to get through. She frantically paced up and down a clearing, looking for any way to get past.
Then she stopped in her tracks.
"Ahhhhh...My Friends....."
A rush of relief went over her as she heard the sound of her beloved King's voice . Though she could not see, except for an occasional glimpse when a flame flickers down. She calmed for a moment and started to look to the side for a clearing to go to the aid of Scar.
"Friends??? ha ha ha.... I though we were the "Enemies"
"Yeah! That's what I heard...."
"ED???"
Zira's stomach started to turn, she stood on her hind legs, as she heard a hyena laugh and lick it's chops.
"Noo.. ll-l-l-let me explain! NO you don't understand! No! I Didn't mean- NO! no-"
Zira stood on her hind legs once more and saw the Hyenas surrounding scar. She started to break into a panicking rage. Running back and forth trying to make it to her beloved. She saw the hyenas jump onto scar. Her Eyes began to burn and her stomach dropped. She inched as close as the fire would allow. Then the flames engulfed scar and his mutinous subjects. The Fire was getting to intense to stick around. Zira's eyes were on fire with tears, and she was heavily outnumbered. She had no choice but to retreat back to her pride and her cubs.
Zira knew that she was no longer Queen, and the She Will never see her King again.

8D i just REALLY wanted to draw Zira, i have had this picture in my head for a good long time. And hey! here's a good theory as to why Zira and her lioness/cubs weren't in the finale of the first film!!

Zira says who killed him who killed Scar?
Kovu says it was the hyenas mother they were the ones who killed him.
